Minerals Core Strategy Consultation.

Dorset Councils are seeking your views on the future strategy and locations for quarrying.

Future quarrying sites will be found for sand and gravel throughout the county, for ball clay around Wareham, for Purbeck Stone near Swanage and for the mining of stone on Portland.

You can comment on these areas as well as the way specific locations will be selected.

See the attached leaflet and go to: www.dorsetforyou.com/mcs for more information and to make your comments, or call minerals and waste planning at Dorset County Council on 01305 228571.
